Spicy Hostel - Budapest

The rooms at Spicy Hostel are cozy and comfortable, with a shared bathroom equipped with a shower and a hairdryer. I loved the city view from certain units, it made me feel close to the vibrant energy of Budapest. Plus, all guest rooms come with a seating area, perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring.

Personally, I didn't enjoy the shared bathroom feature, but I understand others might still find it convenient.

The beds were unbelievably comfy and the shared spaces were mind-blowingly huge with tons of seating areas. The separate shower and toilet for girls were incredibly appreciated. The building and courtyard had top-notch security. The location was super convenient with a nearby tramline and plenty of food and drink options. an absolutely fantastic stay!

For the price we paid, we got great value! The room was comfortable with spacious beds and the location was conveniently central.

The breakfast option could use some improvement, maybe more variety.

It is also near the city center, allowing guests to easily access the main areas of Budapest. Moreover, the bus stop to the airport is nearby, making it convenient for travelers. Guests have also mentioned that the staff are friendly and the atmosphere in the hostel is positive.

One drawback mentioned by a guest is that some lockers were not fully closed when locked, which may raise concerns about security.

Fantastic City View: The best part of my stay was waking up to the breathtaking view of Budapest from my window. It felt like I had my own personal panoramic painting every morning. Truly a picture-perfect start to any day.

Unpleasant Kitchen Smell: The only downside was the strange smell emanating from the kitchen area. It wasn't overwhelming, but it definitely lingered in the reception area.

Stayed at a hostel with parking! Front desk available all night, so I could complain about everything anytime. Kitchen was shared, so I could steal other people's food. Organized tours so I don't get lost in the city.

Couldn't find anyone to carry my luggage.
